Kobe played in his first game last night in 18 days! He played 40 minutes, 32 points, seven boards, six assists, 3 steals, 2 blocked shots & the game winning 3point shot with 4.3 seconds left in the game against the Memphis Grizzlies. i was pretty pleased with his performance. i loooove LA.

Salon Siner

My Salon that i work at recently had to move locations after 46 years. I have only been there for 2, but its where i used to got o get my hair done for about 10 years & the place i have always dreamed about working. I am incredibly blessed to have a career that i absolutely LOVE & a staff of co-workers & owner that are such a pleasure to work with. It was a bittersweet move, bitter because it was the orginal building, we were all so comfortable & the notice was about 2 weeks! But it is definitely much more SWEET than BiTTER. The energy in this new salon feels more like a salon. Its so much busier, we are getting walk ins like crazy! i am really hoping at praying that NOW my career can really take off & i can make all my dreams come true.

Bravo TV Video

it's back!!!

My favorite show "SHEAR GENiUS" is back on wednesday nights! Since i am a hairdresser i eat this stuff UP, i love it. its a reality show based on 12 hairdressers from all over (this is the first season they have gone international) & they compete in 2 challenges a week & each week someone is eliminated. At the end the winner will receive $100,000, an apprenticeship with Nexxus & will get to style the hair for an ALLURE magazine photo shoot! The host of the show is Camila Alves(Matt McConaughey's baby mama). The judges are Jonathan Antin(celeb stylist & star of the TV show Blow Out) & for his second season as a judge Kim Vo is back (he is one of the biggest hairdresser names in Hollywood). The challenges are crazy, the stylist skills are put to the test,everyday is a different day& they can go from top to bottom & bottom to the top. & of course what reality show doesn't have drama. I'm so excited shear genius is back! The first episode's challenges were taking your client from one extreme (like punky, 50 different colors) to a more sophisticated, polished look,
& the elimination challenge was for a swimsuit company's fashion show (runway hair) & all the models were gonna wear, was the bottoms. Meaning some how in a creative, hot way cover the nips! i have a video clip from the first challenge but its in the blog above. So check it out & enjoy & tune in on Wednesday nights!

the greatest EVER.

Not Magic, not Kareem, not big game James Worthy, not even Mr.Clutch Jerry West. Kobe Bryant is the greatest scorer in Lakers history...EVER.He acheived this greatness in monday nights game against the memphis grizzlies in the 3rd quarter.

so last night was he 2010 Grammy awards. i TiV0'd it actually just finished watching them (its monday night). I got a little teary eyed when the Michael tribute was being sung,laughed at lady gaga's craziness, loved when SLASH came out & rocked the shit out of his guitar. pretty good entertainment. here are some moments that i thought were pretty memorable:
